Dr. Yoda was born in Albany, Georgia and raised in the Atlanta area. She attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia where she received a B.S. in Animal Science/Biology with a minor in Religion. In 1999 she graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She then went on to study at the UAB School of Public Health and finished her Masters in Public Health (MPH) She was a General Dentist for 8 years before she went on to study at the University of Washington for her specialty in Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) after writing and presenting her thesis, which focused on mortality in children due to poor oral health.

Dr. Yoda loves working with children to provide quality comprehensive dental care in a fun manner. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Alabama Pediatric Dentistry department and has practiced dentistry in Washington, Georgia and Alabama. Dr. Yoda resides in Hampton Cove with her husband Major James McNutt. They both enjoy running, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
